Iran, GCC Quietly Hold Maneuvers

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Iran has succeeded in coaxing Gulf Arab states to stage
joint naval exercises.
The Institute for the Study of War said Iran held exercises with at
least two Gulf Cooperation Council states over the last year. The institute
cited Oman and Qatar, regarded as the most pro-Iranian members of the GCC.
