Turkey Opens MBT Test Center

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey, in a step toward eventual production, has opened a
facility to test main battle tanks.
The Turkish Defense Ministry has overseen the establishment of the
nation's electromagnetic compatibility MBT test center. The facility, meant
to help develop and produce Turkey's first indigenous MBT, was opened in a
ceremony on March 28 attended by Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz.
