Turkey Mulls Electric MBT

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey has been examining the prospect of developing an
electric-powered main battle tank.
Turkey's Otokar has been drafting options for the development of an MBT
powered by an electric motor. The company has assessed that such an armored
platform would be far more efficient and capable of participating in stealth
operations, particularly in urban warfare.
