Qatar Said To Fund Algerian Islamists

CAIRO [MENL] -- Qatar has been accused of funding the Islamist opposition in
another North African state.
Algerian politicians said Qatar and Turkey were believed to be funding
Islamic opposition parties ahead of parliamentary elections on May 15. They
said members of the Muslim Brotherhood-aligned parties solicited several
Muslim and Arab states in 2011.
