Iran Focuses On MRBM Deployment

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Iran, threatening to close the Gulf in any regional
war, was said to have bolstered deployment of short- and medium-range
ballistic missiles.
The U.S. intelligence community has determined that Iran was expanding
and enhancing its ballistic missile arsenal. A report by the Office of the
Director of National Intelligence asserted that Iran's military was
deploying a range of weapons meant to strike ships and coastal facilities
throughout the Gulf region.
