Israeli UAV Faces U.S. Rival
TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel's strategic unmanned aerial vehicle faces a rival
from the United States.
Industry sources said the Heron UAV of Israel Aerospace Industries has
encountered competition from the U.S.-origin General Atomics. General
Atomics, with its Predator-B, was said to have been alarmed by the contracts
won by Heron in several NATO countries over the last two years.
