Egypt, Hamas Hold Strategic Talks

CAIRO [MENL] -- Egypt and Hamas held what officials termed strategic
talks regarding relations with the Gaza Strip.
Officials said Hamas Political Bureau chief Khaled Masha'al met senior
officials in Cairo, including the head of Egyptian intelligence, in an
effort to enhance cooperation. They said the talks focused on the smuggling
of weapons and fuel through Egypt's Sinai Peninsula to the Gaza Strip.
