Hamas Launches Vote In W. Bank

GAZA CITY [MENL] -- Hamas has moved into its second stage of leadership
elections.
Hamas sources said the Islamic movement was conducting secret elections
in Israel and the West Bank. They said elections for the Shura Council
were taking place in mosques, prisons, schools and other facilities despite
opposition by Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
