Turkey Advances In Ship Project

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey has been advancing in a naval project with European
suppliers.
Turkey's Defense Industry Undersecretariat, or SSM, has been awarding
contracts for the production of three logistics vessels for the navy. The
prime contractor has been Istanbul Shipyard, assigned to design and build a
so-called submarine rescue mother ship as well as two rescue and towing
ships at their yard in Tuzla.
