Israel Plans Block 2 Iron Dome

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel's military has overseen development of an enhanced
variant of the Iron Dome missile and rocket defense system.
The Israel Air Force said it was helping plan the Block 2 variant of
Iron Dome in wake of the launch of operations by the heritage model in 2011.
The air force said the second version of Iron Dome could contain enhanced
interception capability.
