Israel, U.S. Fear Russian ICBM Sales
TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel and the United States have been concerned that
Russia could be quietly relaying intercontinental ballistic missile
expertise and technology to Middle East clients.
Officials and industry sources said Moscow could be using third
countries, particularly Belarus and Ukraine, to export methods to build
intermediate and intercontinental ballistic missiles. They said Iran was the
most interested in such technology and could be working with unofficial
sources based in or aligned with Russia.
