Israel Army Controls Cellphones

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- The Israeli military has sought to maintain control over
what soldiers say over cellular phones.
Military sources said the General Staff approved plans to prevent
the leak of classified information by officers and soldiers who use
cellphones on a daily basis. They said the problem has grown with the use of
cellular phones inside military bases and the introdcution of so-called
smart phones.
