Egypt Sustains Worst Attack In Sinai
CAIRO [MENL] -- Egypt has sustained the worst Al Qaida-aligned attack in the
Sinai Peninsula.
Officials said at least 16 Egyptian police officers were killed and 10
injured in an Islamist strike on a police station in northern Sinai. The
Aug. 5 attack along the Sinai border with Israel was led by two stolen Fahd
armored personnel carriers, which opened fire on officers and later rammed
into the Israeli border.
