Kurds Divided Over Assad

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Syria's Kurdish community has been divided amid the
revolt against President Bashar Assad, a report said.
The Washington Institute for Near East Policy asserted that the three
million Kurds in Syria were being torn between two rival movements. In a
report, the institute cited the tensions between the pro-Assad Party of
Unity and Democracy and the Kurdish National Council of Syria.
