WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States, less than a year after its troop
pullout, has expressed dissatisfaction with defense and military cooperation
with Iraq.
Officials said the administration of President Barack Obama has been
concerned by the slow pace of U.S. defense projects in Iraq. They said Iraqi
Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki appeared unwilling to host a significant U.S.
presence to help train the Iraqi military.
