Iraq Ready For F-16s In 2014

BAGHDAD [MENL] -- Iraq expects the first U.S.-origin fighter-jets to arrive
in 2014.
Officials said the administration of President Barack Obama has informed
Baghdad that the first F-16 Block 52 aircraft would arrive in about two
years. They said the U.S. commitment was relayed to Iraq during the visit by
Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff.
