U.S. Needs Aerostat Systems In Gulf
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The U.S. military was urged to deploy advanced aerostat
systems in the Gulf.
The Lexington Institute asserted that the Joint Land Attack Cruise
Missile Defense Elevated Netted Sensor System marked a requirement for U.S.
military operations in the Gulf. The system, which consists of two large
aerostats with long-range radars, was deemed a major asset to protect
against an attack from Iran.
