Israel Deploys UGVs In Border Ops

The Israel Army has provided details of unmanned ground
vehicle missions along the southern border.
The army has deployed the Guardium UGV along the borders of the Gaza
Strip and Egypt in 2012. Officers said Guardium, developed by Israel's Elbit
Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries, has demonstrated its capability in
both independent patrols as well as supporting infantry operations.
