Iran No Match For U.S., GCC

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Iran could be rapidly defeated by a coalition of the
United States and Gulf Arab allies, a report said.
The Center for Strategic and International Studies asserted that Iran's
military was no match to the modern forces of the U.S.-equipped Gulf
Cooperation Council. The report, authored by former U.S. defense official
Anthony Cordesman, and Saudi strategist Abdullah Toukan, said Iranian air
defense could not hope to stop the wave of U.S. and GCC air strikes.
