Iran Woos Syrian Opposition

NICOSIA [MENL] -- Iran, concerned over an imminent collapse of the regime of
President Bashar Assad, has been wooing the Syrian opposition.
Opposition sources said Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has
initiated contact with Sunni opposition figures, particularly the Muslim
Brotherhood. They said the contact was facilitated by Turkey, which has
hosted the Syrian opposition.
