Congress Blocks More U.S. Aid To Egypt
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The administration of President Barack Obama, in a move
blocked by Congress, has approved U.S. emergency financial aid to Egypt.
The administration told Congress of another $450 million in U.S.
assistance to Egypt. The notification said the latest funds, part of a
planned $1 billion reduction of debt, would comprise an emergency measure
help the regime of Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi.
