Israel Defense Sector Requires Change

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel's large defense industry must refocus on meeting
the needs of the nation's military, a report said.
The Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies asserted that the defense
industry must move away from its export policy and toward helping bolster
Israel's military amid the nuclear threat from Iran. In a report, the center
said the government must help restructure and revise the goals of the
industry.
