Rebels Turn Salafists To Gain Support

LONDON [MENL] -- Syrian rebel militias have been pledging allegiance to Al
Qaida-inspired principles in an attempt to win Gulf Arab support, a report
said.
The International Crisis Group asserted that the growing Salafist
movement in Syria contains many fighters with little or no Islamist belief.
