Hizbullah Recruits Syrian Shi'ites
NICOSIA [MENL] -- Hizbullah was said to have been recruiting Shi'ites to
help the regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad.
Opposition sources said the Iranian-sponsored Hizbullah was ordered to
mobilize the Shi'ite minority in Syria to protect the Assad regime. They
said Hizbullah operatives from Lebanon were moving through Shi'ite areas in
central Syria and forcing young men to attack Sunni rebels.
