Obama Ready To Arm Syrian Rebels

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- President Barack Obama was expected to launch an
immediate effort to arm the Syrian opposition, a leading analyst said.
Robert Satloff, executive director of the Washington Institute for Near
East Policy, said Obama would not wait until his second term formally begins
to pump U.S. military aid to the Sunni revolt.
