Kuwait Firm Said To Cheat U.S. Army

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States has alleged that the military was
cheated by a Kuwaiti subcontractor.
The Justice Department said First Kuwaiti Trading Co. improperly charged
the U.S. government for a contract in Iraq awarded in 2003. In a suit
announced on Nov. 19, the Justice Department said First Kuwaiti inflated
costs in a project led by the U.S. firm KBR.
