Americans In Israel Sue U.S. For Helping Hamas

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Americans in Israel have sued the U.S. government for
allegedly helping Palestinian insurgents in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
Twenty-four Americans filed a civil suit in federal district court in Washington
D.C. that charged that the State Department, including Secretary of State Hillary Clinton,
failed to comply with congressional safeguards to prevent U.S. funds from
reaching Hamas and other groups deemed terrorist.
