Assad Loses Parts Of Capital
AMMAN [MENL] -- Syrian President Bashar Assad has lost control over much of
Damascus, a report said.
The Al Quds Center for Political Studies asserted that the Assad regime
was no longer functioning in much of Syria's capital. The Amman-based
center, deemed close to King Abdullah, determined that Damascus has been
divided into regime-held neighborhoods and those controlled by rival rebel
militias.
