Congress Wooed To Free Pollard

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The American Jewish community has been urging Congress
to help free former U.S. Navy analyst Jonathan Pollard.
Major Jewish organizations have been pressing members of the House of
Representatives to sign a letter that calls for the immediate release of
Pollard, who has served 27 years of a life sentence for relaying classified
information to Israel. The letter urges President Barack Obama to commute
the life sentence to time already served by Pollard.
