Kuwait Mulls Crackdown On Islamist Funds

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Kuwait has been examining the feasibility of a crackdown
on Islamist insurgency funding.
Officials said the Interior Ministry has been discussing the crackdown
on funding to the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaida with other agencies as
well as leading parliamentarians. They said the crackdown was being urged by
Gulf Cooperation Council states as well as NATO.
