NATO Help To Turkey Deemed Symbolic

LONDON [MENL] -- NATO's ballistic missile defense assistance to Turkey has
been deemed marginal.
Analysts said the six Patriot batteries deployed in Turkey would not
block any Syrian ballistic missile attack. They said the PAC-2 and -3
batteries were insufficient to intercept missiles over most of southeastern
Turkey.
