Israel Improperly Uses Non-Lethal Devices
JERUSALEM [MENL] -- Israel's military and security forces have been
improperly using U.S.-origin non-lethal systems in quelling Jewish and
Palestinian unrest, a report said.
The Israeli group B'Tselem asserted that Israel Army and police were
ignoring safety procedures in firing a range of non-lethal means. In a
report, B'Tselem cited such weapons as rubber bullets, tear gas cannisters,
stun grenades, tasers, pepper spray and water cannons.
