Fatah Said To Help Israel Find Hamas Targets
GAZA CITY [MENL] -- The opposition Fatah movement was said to have supplied
data to Israel on Hamas targets throughout the Gaza Strip during the 22-day
war with Israel.
Hamas said Fatah, with guidance from the Palestinian Authority, operated
an espionage ring that collected information on political leaders and
military commanders in the Gaza Strip. Hamas officials said the Islamist
regime has obtained confessions from 10 Fatah operatives who said they
worked for Israel and the PA.
"With the help of the Google Earth program, those groups prepared maps
to identify mosques, institutions, tunnels or workshops," Abu Abdullah, an
official in the Hamas Interior Ministry, said.
