UAE Deemed Leading Defense Market

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United Arab Emirates, deemed a leading market for
Western contractors, was expected to increase defense spending over the next
four years.
A leading Western consultant asserted that the UAE would maintain
military modernization programs until at least through 2017. In a report,
SDI said Abu Dhabi has become an attractive defense market amid the growing
missile and nuclear threat from neighboring Iran.
