ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Kuwait has bolstered aircraft security amid an alert
that a senior Al Qaida operative would arrive in the Gulf Cooperation
Council sheikdom.
Security sources said the Interior Ministry has placed major border
facilities on alert for the arrival of Suleiman Abu Gheith, the
brother-in-law of the late Al Qaida founder Osama Bin Laden. They said Abu
Gheith, a former Kuwaiti harbored by Iran for the last decade, was
attempting to enter Kuwait from GCC or other regional states.
