U.S. Warns Of Turkish Expectations
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The U.S. military has warned of Turkish expectations
for enhanced weapons.
The military's European Command asserted that the government of Turkish
Prime Minister Recep Erdogan was growing increasingly restless amid demands
for an expanded defense alliance with the United States. Eucom said Ankara
was seeking advanced combat platforms from Washington, including the
Predator unmanned aerial vehicle.
