ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Qatar has become the most promising new market in the
Middle East.
Industry sources said virtually every Western defense major has sought
to establish a presence in the tiny Gulf Cooperation Council emirate. They
said Doha has signaled its intention to buy tens of billions of dollars
worth of defense and security platforms and systems over the next decade.
