TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Al Qaida appears divided over the degree of intervention
in Syria, a report said.
The Institute for National Security Affairs asserted that two Al Qaida
networks appeared at odds over a merger effort. The Israeli institute said
Syria's Al Nusra Front for the Protection of the Levant has resisted a
takeover by Al Qaida's network in Iraq, called Islamist State of Iraq.
