Oman, U.S. Fail To Wrap SAM Deal

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Oman and the United States failed to conclude an
expected multi-billion-dollar military agreement.
Officials said Oman, despite high-level U.S. appeals, did not sign an
agreement for the procurement of a major air defense system. They said Oman
raised last-minute issues that delayed the $2.1 billion deal.
