U.S. Struggles In Iran Outreach

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- After nearly four years of efforts, the United States
has failed to make significant progress in its secret campaign to reconcile
with Iran.
Western diplomatic sources said the administration of President Barack
Obama failed to achieve a breakthrough toward what they termed a "grand
bargain" that would grant U.S. recognition to Iran as a regional power.
