WASHINGTON [MENL] -- President Barack Obama has retained hope that Iranian
parliamentary elections would facilitate a policy change that
would result in a nuclear agreement as well as reconciliation with the
United States.
Officials said Obama and his aides have repeatedly pointed to Iranian
elections on June 14 as a possible watershed in both Teheran's relations
with Washington as well as an end to the uranium enrichment crisis.
