U.S. Sees Renewed Unrest In GCC
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The U.S. military has published a report that
envisioned renewed unrest and called for an expanded presence in Gulf Arab
states.
The U.S. Army has sponsored a report that warned of the spread of the
Arab revolt to Gulf Cooperation Council states. Titled "The Future Of The
Arab Gulf Monarchies In The Age Of Uncertainties," author Mohammed El Katiri
asserted that the massive injections of cash by such GCC members as Qatar
and Saudi Arabia marked short-term solutions that would not defuse unrest.
