U.S. Woos Israel With V-22

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States has been pressing Israel to become
the first foreign client of the V-22 tilt-rotor aircraft.
Officials said the administration of President Barack Obama has been
lobbying Israel's military and Defense Ministry to purchase the MV-22
Osprey. They said Osprey was offered as part of a 10-year military package
reported at more than $30 billion.
