GCC Moves Toward UAVs

LONDON [MENL] -- Gulf Cooperation Council militaries have been moving toward
the procurement and operation of unmanned aerial vehicles.
An industry report asserted that most of the six GCC states were either
procuring or examining the prospect of acquiring UAVs for military missions.
The British consultant Frost and Sullivan said the United Arab Emirates has
been the most advanced in procuring and producting tactical unmanned platforms.
