Algeria Moves Slowly In Regional CI

CAIRO [MENL] -- Algeria has advanced slowly in efforts to organize regional
counter-insurgency cooperation.
Arab diplomatic sources said Algeria elicited expressions of support
for CI cooperation throughout North Africa and Sahel. But they said the
declarations have not translated into significant operational support
against the Al Qaida network.
