Lebanon Mil Reviews Plan

NICOSIA [MENL] -- Lebanon has sought to advance an international plan to
enhance its military.
Officials said the United Nations and key states agreed to participate
in a five-year plan to modernize the Lebanese military. They said the plan
would enhance military capabilities in conventional warfare, border security
and counter-insurgency.
