Kurds Form 1st Enclave In Syria
JERUSALEM [MENL] -- For the first time, Kurds have formed an autonomous
enclave in Syria in what could determine conflicts in the region, a report
said.
The Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs asserted that Kurds from several
Middle East states have joined to form and secure an enclave in northern
Syria near the border with Turkey. In a report, the center said the enclave
was administered and protected Kurds and could resist any onslaught by the
regime of Syrian President Bashar Assad.
