U.S. Firm Exports Illegally To M.E.
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- A U.S. company has reached a $25 million settlement
amid charges that it illegally sold military equipment to the Middle East.
A California company, Meggitt-USA, has reached a settlement with the
State Department regarding charges of arms export violations. The department
said Meggitt-USA, a subsidiary of a British company, recorded 67 violations
of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
