Oman Struggles To Enhance Mil

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Oman has been struggling to modernize its
highly-trained military, a report said.
The Congressional Research Service said Oman has sought to modernize its
45,000-man military, the third largest in the Gulf Cooperation Council. But
in a report CRS said the sultanate was hampered by a budget crunch.
