Turkey Cited For Syrian Strike

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Cyprus and Turkey were deemed the best launching pads
for a U.S.-sponsored air campaign against Syria.
The Rand Corp. said NATO bases in Cyprus and Turkey represent the most
attractive bases for U.S. air strikes on the regime of President Bashar
Assad. In a report, Rand cited the Incirlik air base in southern Turkey.
